Brushing Teeth

Thankfully brushing of teeth isn't something we've had a major struggle with! For the most part our kids love it.

Windy Mornings

The mornings are getting cooler and the wind sticks around for a lot longer now. I've decided I like the Fall. I used to rant and rave about how much I like the summer. I do still like it, I love the sun. I like the warmth, I love being able to go outside and play. But I'm starting to warm up to the Fall. This morning we went outside to play. And I ran back in to grab the camera. I always want to take pictures of the lil' ones outside but I never remember to bring the camera. 

So today I did. 

And I actually got some really good pictures!!  

 Cole is starting to swing more. 

He likes it alot--as long as you don't push him too high :)

 He's still got those blue eyes. And some cute chubby cheeks!

Slowly but surely she's getting used to the fact that he likes doing the things that she likes to do too. Sometimes it's fun and exciting, and other times it's hard to share and be nice. 

But she is a great big sister and these too have so much fun together. Being a Mom really is one of the greatest things in the world, and I am so blessed to be one!

New Blogger setup is weird...

I don't think it is any easier to navigate than the old one. It just took me five minutes to find out how to write a new post....the big orange button. But for some reason that orange button (pretty much the only color on the page) didn't catch my eye. I think I need to go back to the old set up so I can blog more efficiently...Has anyone else tried it out? What do you think about it?

Blanket Fun!!

OKay, So I have this book with a gazillion activities to do with your baby from 0-12 months. It has some pretty fun ones and others that have never quite entertained my kids. Anyways, I had never done this with Lucy and thought Cole might like it. Well, the baby is supposed to be propped up on the rolled up blanket-- gives them good exercise and a "new perspective on their surroundings".  Haha, I guess Cole likes his normal perspective :)

NOTE: okay after watching the video it takes him a while to roll over the blanket. When we first put him on it he would just roll and roll and roll over it. He wouldn't stay propped up like he does the first couple of minutes...might have something to do with his toys being right there :)
