A couple of my favorite Gifts

When Devin and I first found out we were pregnant he went online and looked up different plans for how to make a cradle. After discussing the different ones that we liked we finally settled on one. He sent the plans to his dad and in the email all he said was, "How about this for a summer project?"( We hadn't told them yet that we were expecting) His dad wrote back and said that he already had the plans downstairs! Apparently he had planned on making cradles for each of his kids when they had their first baby, and the plan we picked out was the exact on he liked as well!! I thought that was pretty amazing. So he's had the cradle done now for several months!! We're just waiting for something to put in it :D

Devin's Grandma Moss made us baby blankets! She and I went to pick the fabric together, which was harder than I thought (because I'm so indecisive) but really fun. Then she made them and matching burp cloths! I'm SO excited. Sometimes I just stand by the cradle and look at them and imagine our baby all wrapped up in one :D My plan is to wash them this weekend so they'll be all clean for when the baby comes!

  1. How Fun! I LOVE the cradle it is beautiful! and the blanket patterns are so cute. i used to do that before blake was born. i would stare at his crib or clothes and just imagine him in them. i used to want to take the stroller with us when we went on walks, when i was still pregnant, just to try it out, but tanner wouldn't let me. i just wanted to see what it was like! when your baby comes it is so much better then anything you can imagine! im so excited for you guys and glad to hear you are doing well.
