Our little Lucy Mae was born on December 14th at 5:23 pm. She weighed in at 7 lbs 6oz, and was 21 inches long. She is definitely our little Christmas Angel. It's been an amazing experience being parents. It's definitely different than I expected but I'm loving every minute of it. Because Lucy Mae had been in the NICU at the hospital the doctors asked us to take her into the pediatrician for a check-up at one week just to make sure everything was still going well. They weighed her while we were there and she had gain a whole 8 oz since her birth! They took this as a pretty good sign that she is healthy and well :D.
Lucy is now 2 weeks and 2days old. She had her two week check-up yesterday and she now weighs 8lbs 10 oz. She gained 11 oz this last week! We've got a little chunk of a baby!
