Anyways, so life the last little while. Well I finally graduated!! YAY me! :) I finished my classes (independent study) the day before Thanksgiving break. It was a very busy semester, if you want to know how much time I was spending on the computer or with my classes the following story should give you an idea -- Lucy and I were playing and having fun, when I realized I really needed to get back to my studying, I went over to the computer, opened it and Lucy fell on the floor crying... A little dramatic? Maybe, but she got the point across. I needed to spend more time with her. Well, now she gets to be with me ALL day :) It's good most days and other days let's just say I'm not the only one needing a break.
Hahaha!
Thanksgiving break was great! One of Devin's uncle's and fam came to stay here and so we got to see a lot of them. Have I ever mentioned how much Lucy loves boys? or should I say male gender? Haha. Devin's cousin Travis who is just a couple years younger than me was Lucy's favorite person over the break. I don't know what it was but she spent lots of time like this...
Being goofy and sitting with Travis. She warmed right up to Uncle Jim (that is his head in the picture above). I felt so bad for Aunt Karen, Lucy just wouldn't go to her! She let her touch her a few times, but that was it. Thanksgiving day was great! The food was wonderful and I ate WAY too much of it...but at the time I was on a gain weight diet prescribed by my midwife...apparently I wasn't gaining enough weight the first few months. No worries, I have successfully gained plenty...I won't tell you how much, but lets just say the holidays did wonders :D haha.
Not having school after Thanksgiving break was a little weird. I felt like I was on an extended holiday, and I probably treated it a little too much like one. I was not very productive or motivated to do much else other than be with Lucy and get our apartment in order. Devin on the other hand went back to school and finished the semester off beautifully! When Christmas break rolled around he was very excited (to say the least). I've got to go but I will leave you with one more picture of Lucy and I will hopefully write more soon :)
