Recent Happenings

It's been warm (actually hot! FINALLY) around here so we filled up the little kiddy pool and have been enjoying the fun weather! We swim, play in the sand, swing, go to the park, and go on daily walks. It has been WONDERFUL! Here are some pictures of what has been going on...

Cole is getting CHUNKY! So cute :)

Lucy's favorite movie is Bolt...here is her playing with her 'blankie' while watching.

This is how I found her...I have a love/hate relationship with this item...I'm not quite sure when we'll wean her from it but it will need to happen within the next year, probably.

I had a birthday, shout hooray! Haha, Devin got me a chocolate cake from Costco (I LOVE THESE CAKES!!!) mmmm....there is a reason I only get to have them once a year :D Lucy loved the cake, and smashed her hand in it before it was ever cut!

We now have a red haired boy!! I think we wash more color out every time he gets a bath. And the sun exposure apparently turns it red?! Awesome, he is absolutely adorable! ;)

Lucy and I painted our toenails and fingernails one day! That was lots of fun!

Lucy likes to dress herself now :) or at least pick out her clothes. She pulled this hat out of her drawer, climbed up on her bed so she could reach this coat off of her dresser and proceeded to get ready to go 'atside'... ... don't worry we didn't go out with all this get-up on. But I thought it was super cute how she put her hat on (she did it this way repeatedly)

Getting tan in the sun! Swimming is so fun, I can't wait to go to a big pool and let Lucy try out her floatie from last year....

This is how Cole usually spends our swimming time...napping in the shade or just playing on his mat. He loves this thing!

When her diaper fills up with water she looks like an ant...with a big abdomen. It is hilarious! I tried to get a picture but failed....this pic doesn't do it justice. I'll have to get a video one of these days and post it.
