Our little Lucy turned THREE years old in December!!
I cannot believe how fast she is growing and how much she is becoming a little girl.
She is very imaginative and loves to play pretend.
She loves to dance in pretty dresses and tries, fruitlessly, to get Cole to be her prince.
She loves to read books and be told stories.
She has a great memory and can recite a bunch of the books that we have.
She loves her family.
She is way to smart for her own good, and keeps Devin and I learning and growing along with her.
I let Lucy pick out her own birthday cake. I was looking at all these princess cakes trying to figure out which one would be easy enough to do and when I asked Lucy which one she wanted she picked a two layered white frosting cake with hard candies shaped into flowers.( If you really want to see it here is the link)
...not what I would have thought but she was set on it.
Lucy and Cole helped to make the cake and the frosting! She was hiding her face, silly girl.
Cole thinking he got caught with something he shouldn't have.
This is how our version turned out - with fruitsnacks instead of hard candy :)
All lit up!
This year there were no tears -- last year she cried both times she was sung to :)
This face is priceless
We got her a puzzle, which has been a hit. She turned it upside down and asked, 'Mom, does it not work?" I had to explain to her that it was just covered in plastic :)
She got lots of books
I post this picture because Cole's face is hilarious!! He looks more excited about her books than she did
No forks for this girl. She picked up the bottom half of her piece and tried to fit the whole thing in her mouth!
Happy Birthday Lucy!!!
Ok these pictures of Cole are KILLING me! He looks SO SO SO grown up!! One in the last post and the one where he's caught just blow my mind! Where is your baby!?!
