Lucy has been sick on and off for the last month or so :(. I feel so bad for her. It been mostly stuffy nose and sometimes fevers (actually she's had one really scary fever in the beginning) but thankfully nothing lasts too long or gets too bad. I've actually been very impressed with how happy she is when she's sick. Of course she gets a little more clingy and doesn't like to do as many things but compared to how bad I know it can get, we've got it pretty good! :D So Lucy needs to get her immunizations on Monday and I've been hoping and praying that she would be better by then so that we could get them over with and not have it magnify whatever she does have. But this morning she woke up on fire (not literally) she was really hot, didn't want to play or be put down, she's been eating a lot more frequently and sleeping a lot (which isn't a bad thing). It's so sad to see her sick. One positive thing though is that we get to hold her and cuddle!! She's not a very cuddly baby because she wants to be doing things and going places. In any case, I would rather have her be busy than cuddly because cuddly = sick.

It IS so sad when they are sick! But I have to admit, I also enjoy the cuddle time I get when Emily's not feeling so good... Makes me feel needed. But still sad....

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry Lucy is sick. I hope she gets to feeling better soon. She's going to need her energy to come and play with us. We are so excited to see you guys. Patrick got off work on Monday the 16th so that's the day we will be at the beach. Mark it down!
