The Zoo!

Over the Fourth of July holiday weekend we went to the zoo! We've been wanting to take Lucy for a while now and decided that this was probably going to be the best time. I was hoping it wouldn't be too crowded, but boy was I wrong. It was PACKED! We went with Devin's family. Her uncle Ryan had some sunglasses and let Lucy try them on...

I'm sorry to say I didn't get a lot of pictures. I honestly didn't think about the camera for most of the time. I haven't been to a zoo in probably 6 or 7 years. It was fun to see all of the animals! Lucy had a hard time noticing some of them because they were too far back from the path but there were a few that she really enjoyed. We saw some Ostrich's, they were running around and doing funny things with their heads, that was fun and Lucy was very interested. I did get a picture of the giraffe's.

I don't know what was going on with this one, but it just licked the bar the whole time we were there! My favorite part was the bird show. We got so see some really cool birds. It made me miss Puerto Rico and all the birds we had while we lived there. Haha funny story, so on our way to the zoo Lucy messed her pants. We knew she had because she made her face (she always makes the same one :D ) But we what we didn't realize was that she had left us a nice surprise in her seat! Haha, it was great, her auntie megan was adjusting Lucy (she had wriggled herself too far sideways to be comfortable) and while she was helping her straighten our she got a big handful of Lucy poo! Haha, it was great. For some reason we always have a blowout during big or exciting events, we just have to laugh.
