Lucy turns 5

We were all really sick the few days before Lucy's birthday. Saturday night we told Lucy we might have to post pone her party until Monday. She understood but was devastated.   After the kids went to bed and Devin made sure I was ok, he ran out to the store and found Lucy a chocolate cake with BLUE frosting! And he grabbed her some blue drinks to go with it! I love him so much. He is such a wonderful father making her wishes come true! 

 All she wanted was a baby doll with hair and accessories. Her face here is priceless.

Oh Lucy. Five years have taught us so much more than we could have expected. She is loving, kind, inquisitive, smart, creative, eager to learn. She still loves horses and it would make her life to own one. She would love to have a dog or a cat. Her favorite game to play is house. No matter the toys in hand one becomes the mom, dad, and child. Her favorite color is still blue, and all the others are her next favorite. She loves art, crayons, paints, markers. She loves singing. Sometimes she gets a little nervous but she is braver than her mama and always pushes through. She has an incredible memory. This year has been fun with her recalling memories from last. We love her and are grateful to have her in our family! We love you Lucy!
