Fun this week

So I know I'm supposed to be writing about our trip but we've done a couple of things this last week that I wanted to get up here :)

Lucy and I painted our toes!! This is one of her most favorite activities, so we try to do it at least once every two weeks. Sometimes we do it every week. It just depends on how much we like our colors :)

 She isn't taking as long of naps anymore so she gets to stay up and we do something together the first 45 mins -1hr of Cole's nap. Then she goes to bed and they usually wake up together, because he can't be quiet yet :)

Yesterday we made SLIME! I was perusing pinterest while they napped and came across this fun recipe for making slime. MAGICAL MONSTER SLIME.  It had been a long while since we've made something fun like this so I thought we'd give it a try!
For the first few minutes the kids would not even poke a finger in! I was almost disappointed, until Cole bravely stuck a finger in, looked at me and stuck his whole hand in! I already had it all over my hands (I had been trying to get them to do the same) so it took me a minute to clean them so I could grab the camera.

 This is the slime while still in its slightly liquid form, Cole already had it all over his hands.

 This is how many fingers Lucy stuck in it :) She didn't touch it again until we pulled it out that night to show Daddy :)
