Started off with everyone sleeping later than normal and i got a mini workout in....Then on to our regular grocery shopping trip, where the kids behave exceptionally well, only once did I have to make Cole Buddy Michael Moss sit in he kart for screeching too loudly.
"Mommy, I don't wan hold yo han, I wan houd Lucy's hand. Lucy I wan to houd your han."
Had to get a picture because e never wants to hold hands and if we make him he wil only hold mine.
Then Sadie baby took a nap on the way home and for a while after, I unpacked groceries while other two watched an episode if Wild Krattz. (Pretty neat show)
Daddy came home for lunch! Love it when he comes. We had Mac n cheese for the first time since we got here (kids were in heaven) devin and I had to hold off on seconds because they ate so much. Sadie even had some, but after cleaning up after her I'd be amazed if anything actually made it to her stomach.
Daddy went back to work, Sadie crawled around the downstairs for the next 20 mins yelling(the way she does when she is callin for someone) for him, I could almost guarantee it.
P.s. their relationship is on the mend, her I-need-mommy-every-second-of-the-day phase is THANKFULLY coming to a close. Yesterday Devin walked by Sadie without saying anything to her and she started crying, his response was so cute, "oh, you're crying for me? You want me? I'll pick you up my Sadie babies." Oh man he was on cloud nine :)
Where was I? Oh yeah, so after he left, I do a super fast pick up around the house since our landlord was coming with the Orkin guy, then the kids and I played until naptime.
Lucy is hit and miss with naps still, but today was definitely a nap day, she didn't even make it through the songs. Sadie on the other hand is currently madly eating every scrap if paper she can fit in her mouth (I have no idea where it came from). After 45 mins of trying to get her to sleep, each attempt ended with me leaving the room frustrated and her laughing and sucking on the baby doll that Lucy so kindly gave her.
I know this face should make me smile, but at the moment it didnt. when she realized I wasn't putting her back to bed, oh boy was she full of smiles, and giggles, and hugs and kisses.
Yes she gave me all if those while I just about cries I was so mad.
And she has been trying her darned-est to play with me and get my attention, so now that I've vented and gotten over the whole fiasco I'll relieve you of my boring story, and very bad grammar to enjoy the rest of your day :).
